Frequently Asked Questions
Programs, lessons, the Showcase, and how to get started.
Not at all. Classes welcome complete beginners and experienced young performers alike. Because classes are capped at 15 students, Erin meets each child at their level — and every child, regardless of experience, gets their moment in the Studio Showcase.
Shy kids are often the ones who grow the most. There's no pressure to be the loudest in the room — students build confidence gradually through warmups, group numbers, and small wins each week. Many parents tell us the change they see at home and school matters more than anything that happens on stage.
Every session ends with a live performance for family and friends. Every child performs — a solo, duet, or ensemble number they've chosen and prepared. It's the emotional heart of the program and a moment kids remember.
Classes are capped at 15 students. That number is deliberate: it's large enough for real ensemble work and small enough that every child receives individual attention every week.
Classes meet at your child's school, typically starting right after dismissal, one hour per week. Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions run from September through June. Exact days and times vary by school.
Enrollment works through your school's dedicated Elevate page, announced in your school's newsletter with an access code. If you can't find it, contact us and we'll point you to the right place.
We'd love that. Elevate partners with Peninsula schools and PTAs to offer the program after dismissal — we handle curriculum, instruction, insurance, and the Showcase. Reach out through the contact page and we'll start the conversation with your school.
Private lessons are one-on-one voice and audition coaching with Erin, in person or over Zoom, tailored to your child's age and goals. The roster is often full with a waitlist — email erin@elevateartsconservatory.com to ask about current availability.
It's our online course teaching young performers how to prepare for and win auditions — song selection, preparation, nerves, and what directors actually look for. It's launching soon; join the waitlist from the Own the Audition page.
After-school programs serve grades 1–8 depending on the school. Private lessons and Own the Audition serve young performers of essentially any age, including teens preparing for competitive programs.
